Mornings to get ready for school. After a break, cooking lunch for the children and towards the end of the afternoon until early evening to supervise activities, help with cooking etc. One Saturday morning per month and occasional weekend babysitting.
Job Description
Junior Nanny required from September for two girls aged 11 and 13 in Erlenbach, near Zurich. The family have two dogs as well.
Their family language is German but the parents can also speak French and English. The children speak mainly German and English. They need someone who can drive children to music school, horseback riding or do excursion with them. Also someone who can run errands for the family. Mum also needs help with cooking.
The family have a cleaning woman who comes twice a week to do the big tasks in the house. Therefore the nanny would only need to help with every day type of things like tidying up the kitchen, vacuuming, and helping with children rooms and clothes. Short walks with the dogs would also be appreciated.
The family's current nanny lives in but they would also consider someone who has her own accommodation. They live close to the train station so commuting is easy, though you would need to be punctual and reliable.
Requirements
- Very good English and/or German. If no German, be willing to take a course when starting the job.
- Clean driver's licence
- Happy to cook for the children and family.

Ideal Candidate
They are looking for a kind, intelligent, responsible, well organised, tidy, and trustworthy person who wants to be active with the children. Someone who is happy to take bike rides or swim with kids (their house is at the lake) etc. Both children are taking music lessons. One of them loves horses while the other loves to draw and paint.
You should be capable of handling two active and smart young ladies and be trustworthy. It would help to know some German but they are willing to send you to an intensive course at the beginning of work if necessary, as long as you are a caring caregiver for their children and you are willing to help the family.
