Job Description

Lovely family looking for their first nanny to care for their first child, a little boy aged 7 months currently (will 9 mths when nanny starts). 

Father works and mother will be returning to work on 1st March. They would love nanny to start either in January or beginning of Feb, so that mum can have a bit of free time to rest and relax etc before starting back at work full time (out of the house).

This family is looking for a warm nanny who would be happy being seen as part of the family and plan to stay with them and their (in future hopefully) growing family for the longer term.

Hours are 6.30am til 6.30pm Monday to Friday. There is also some occasional babysitting which will be paid extra and plenty of notice will be given

They prefer live in, but if nanny is really great and lives very close by live out could be an option. They currently live in Bermondsey but will be moving to their new house in Jan- April 2020, with space for their nanny. The new house will be in the Kensington or Fulham area.

Pay is according to skills and experience and will be market rate.

Any occasional babysitting would be arranged in advance and paid extra.

Nanny will be included as part of the family, in meals etc. But if they prefer to eat alone some or all of the time that is also absolutely fine.

A German or Italian speaker is preferred, but most importantly nanny should be experienced with this age of child and be full of enthusiasm and warmth, and looking for a long term position.

 

Requirements

Enhanced DBS (or can apply now) 

Paediatric 1st Aid, or go on a  refresher course

Right to Work in UK

Prefer German or Italian speaker

Childcare qualifications preferred

Experience essential

Checkable references for work with children
