Job Description

Family in Zermatt. Live-in Nanny as of January 2020. One friendly dog and two boys (almost 2 + Almost 4). No driving required

Norwegian family is moving to Zermatt, a famous ski-mountain resort in Switzerland. Their family language is Norwegian but they are fluent in English and they have a base in German. The main communication may be in English but if you have German or Norwegian on top, it will help.

The nanny will work 30 to 35 hours a week. It will probably include 1 ½ to 2 hours in the morning and more hours in the afternoon until diner or bed time of kids. They don’t need you every weekend but you may expect some work on weekdays, evenings or weekends based on needs.They are looking for someone who has at least 3 years experience working with children. You must love kids, be sporty and mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well organized. You will need a current first aid certificate and a second language would be a big advantage.

To enjoy Zermatt, you need to love mountains and nature. In general, they need your help with kids such as babysitting, playing and putting the children down at night, bathing kids, playing with kids and doing activities with them such as biking, skiing, arts and crafts, reading, doing puzzles etc. You daily schedule will also  include help with household duties when time permits. For example, preparing meals and snacks for the kids, changing bedsheets and washing/drying clothes, every day type of cleaning/general housekeeping.

You do not need to drive.

Pay depends on your skills, experience and age
